Kory & Cheryleigh's Wedding - 2nd April 2011

Kory and Cheryleigh were married on Saturday 2nd April at Albert Street Uniting Church in the city, followed by a reception at Customs House. Kory and Cheryleigh are two of the most generous couples you would ever meet. These two actually met in school in New Zealand and were 'going out' when they were 14! Unfortunately the school time romance eventually fizzled out although it was re-ignigted later on down the track. Cheryleigh moved to Australia with her family and eventually Kory moved here as well. The wonderful girls from the powder room took care of the hair and make up, always a great day for us when the make up is perfect! When the guests entered Customs House for the reception they were greeted by a lovely big canvas of these guys from their engagement session, it really was a great finishing touch to the room and everybody noticed it. At the slideshow during the reception we used some of their images from when they were growing up and when the were an 'item' during their school days followed by some shots from the engagement session and eventually..... the wedding, the guests found it to be incredibly entertaining! There were also a lot (and I mean a lot!) of wet eyes during the slideshow. I have since caught up with some of the guests at the wedding which we are photographing in the upcoming months and they told me it was the party of a lifetime! We were kept company on the day by Lachy Fletcher from Net Productions, who make weddings into cinematic experience! These two have shared some incredible experiences in the past and are about to embark on some huge projects together as well.

A huge thank you from Sonia, Belinda and myself for letting us join you on this journey to becoming husband and wife, we are certain the two of you can and will achieve incredible things together!

Chris
